LAKE OF PONTECHIANALE
REGULATIONSfishing season from May 1st to October 3rd, 2010
During the season 2010 trout fishing in the lake of Pontechianale will again be conducted by the Comunità Montana Valle Varaita.
Where to go fishing
Fishing is possible along the banks of the lake of Pontechianale, with the exception of the Varaita torrent above and below.
Rates
- daily vouchers (max. 5 trouts, not refundable): € 15.00
- seasonal block of 12 vouchers for max. 60 trouts: € 200.00
Price reductions for associations, CRAL, Dopolavoro etc. are provided for:
- daily vouchers (max. 5 trouts, not refundable): € 11.00 (for a purchase of at least 30 vouchers)
- seasonal block of 12 vouchers for max. 60 trouts: € 160.00 (for a purchase of at least 4 blocks).
To fish you need a FIPS licence or daily voucher that you can buy together with the voucher at the special price of 3 €.

LAKE OF SAMPEYRE AND VARAITA TORRENT RESERVE SECTION DAM OF CASTELLO – LAKE OF SAMPEYRE
The section of the Varaita torrent that stretches from the dam of Castello in the municipality of Pontechianale to the lake of Sampeyre is a fishing reserve conducted by the Società dilettantistica Pescatori Valle Varaita. Fishing in these waters is only allowed for the members.
To enrol it is necessary to send a simple written request with personal data to the Società Dilettantistica Pescatori Valle Varaita, c/o sig. Platano Adriano, v. XXV Aprile 3, 12039 VERZUOLO.
Fishing in the lake of Sampeyre is allowed with the purchase of vouchers.
Price rates:
For members of the FIPS: € 12.50 per vouchers (valid for 5 trouts, half day);
For non members: € 15.00 (valid for 5 trouts, half day).
FRASSINO
This part of the Varaita stream is reserved to no-kill fishing.
